Jeco Plastics Releases New Precision Pallet

Plainfield, Indiana, USA; September 2007—Jeco Plastic Products—designer and manufacturer of plastic pallets and containers for the worldwide manufacturing and logistics industries since 1973—has announced a pallet specifically for the Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 and XL 105 presses. Developed in conjunction with Heidelberg, the Jeco Model 3B pallet is internally reinforced with steel for added strength, and meets the precise dimensional standards necessary for use with high speed presses. The pallet is rated to accommodate loads as great as 1400 kg (3086 lb), for as long as 48 hours. Molded as a single unit, of virgin resin, the Jeco Model 3B pallet is made using a process which yields no stress points, making it the most durable pallet available. The pallet may be accessed by fork lift or hand truck from any side.

Announcing the new Jeco pallet, Jeco CEO Craig Carson commented: “The new Jeco Model 3B pallet for the CD 102 and XL 105 presses is the result of long cooperation between Heidelberg and Jeco. The pallet was developed by Jeco designers in accordance with Heidelberg specifications, to be far more dimensionally precise and stable than conventional plastic pallets. Printers using the Jeco Model 3B pallet may confidently run the Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 and XL 105 press at rated speed.”

Jeco Plastics Partners with Durac Development

Plainfield, Indiana, USA; August 2007—Jeco Plastic Products—designer and manufacturer of plastic pallets and containers for the worldwide manufacturing and logistics industries since 1973—has announced it will partner with Durac Development to jointly distribute their products. The agreement between the companies makes Jeco Pallets available through Durac Development distribution in the western United States. In addition, Jeco agents worldwide will market Durac products. Durac Development produces a proprietary, highly advanced plastic racking system which is successfully used by printers large and small.

Announcing the agreement, Jeco Plastic Products CEO Craig Carson observed: “The Durac System racking boards and corner supports complement our pallets, and enable Jeco representatives to make a more complete offering to printers who wish to eliminate the problems associated with wooden pallets and boards. Our joint marketing effort should benefit both our companies.” Bill Grau, Durac Development Founder and CEO, also commented: “Durac is pleased to be affiliated with the leading manufacturer of plastic pallets for the printing industry. Jeco Plastics Announces Product Recycling Program

Plainfield, Indiana, USA; August 2007—Jeco Plastic Products—designer and manufacturer of plastic pallets and containers for the worldwide manufacturing and logistics industries since 1973—has announced a recycling program for its products. All Jeco plastic pallets and containers are completely recyclable. If Jeco customers cannot locate a nearby recycling agency which can recycle their Jeco products, they may be returned prepaid to Jeco, where they will be recycled at no cost to the customer.

Announcing the Jeco recycling program, Jeco Vice President Ann Carson commented: “Many Jeco customers wish to buy products which can be recycled. Our products are made entirely with virgin plastic, thus ensuring that they are fully recyclable by most recyclers. Should a customer fail to find a qualified recycler nearby, Jeco products may be returned prepaid directly to Jeco for responsible recycling.”

New Jeco Variable Roll Pallet

Useful in the printing, converting, metal finishing and other industries handling heavy rolls of different sizes, the Jeco Variable Roll Pallet creates a cradle appropriate for the roll diameter by simply moving a pair of chocks. The Jeco Variable Roll Pallet is available in a wide range of sizes, and is rated for loads as high as 3500 lb (1585 kg).
